Hello all! As usual, it’s been a while since I’ve updated. I’ve been a little busy though with work and a VACATION!!!!!
So let’s start with the fun stuff first - VACATION!! I flew down to Raleigh, NC on Friday, March 3. Jenn came and picked me up from the airport then we drove down to Wingate, NC. She’s attending Wingate University there. I stayed with her in her apartment. Her three roommates were away for spring break so it was just the two of us.
Friday night she took me to a club in Charlotte called the Breakfast Club. We went in normal club clothes that night.

The next night we met up with two of Jenn’s friends, Tawni and Cat, and we all were decked out 80s style. It was a little embarassing at first, but once we got to the club and in, it was a blast. The club is 80s themed (in case you couldn’t guess by the name) and they play nothing but 80s music.

This is Jenn’s outfit. I thought she looked adorable. I was so proud of my handiwork!

This was my outfit. I don’t think it turned out as well as Jenn’s did, but I was into the green hair.

Sunday night Tawni came over to Jenn’s apartment and we played a few rounds of beer pong.

Tawni concentrating.

Jenn trying to finish her winning pong drink. I swore she was going to be sick.

I also realized what a lushie Jenn is. The cups on the left are her pong ones, the blue and black ones she already drank, and she was drinking the beer and the pink cup.
Monday and Tuesday we didn’t really do anything, it was nice to just be able to sit around and not do anything. Although we did take a trip or two to a southern tradition:

The lyrics “want you smothered, want you covered like my Waffle House hashbrowns” now makes sense!
Tuesday evening Jenn drove me back to Raleigh and I caught a flight back home. Ben picked me up and we just hung out for the night.
Wednesday i hung around the apartment and did some heavy-duty cleaning. Liesle came over in the afternoon and spent the night. Thursday my parents and grandmother came up from Jersey and we went to the Philadelphia Flower Show and the Reading Terminal Market. They then stayed for dinner and Liesle spent the night again.
So that was my vacation. I sure needed it. Work is falling apart again though. John has a stick up his butt again so every morning I’m getting in trouble again. But Wawa is a pendulum; it’ll be good for a while, then it’s bad for a while, then it’s good again. Plus I have Friday night off, so I’m looking foward to another trip to Kildare’s Irish Pub with Liesle, Chris and possibly some other friends. More pictures to follow!!
