MSNBC just said that Florida was called for Obama!
All the stations have called it - PRESIDENT OBAMA!!
All the polls have officially closed! Now we’re just waiting on the official call!
Fox News is calling Virginia for Obama!
No, really. CNN’s Anderson Cooper is currently talking to Will.I.Am (of Black Eyed Peas) “live via hologram.” They are projecting a full 360-degree view of Will.I.Am right into the studio with Anderson Cooper. They’re even running the caption “Live Via Hologram” down by the ticker.
A little silly? Yes.
Still cool? Oh yeah.
The Senate needed to pick up 51 seats to get a Democratic majority. They now have 54!
We’re just surfing all the 24-hour news networks and happened upon Nancy Grace. Now, I can’t stand the woman, personally. I was dreading what she would be saying about the current state of the election (it’s looking really grim for McCain - even Fox news is starting to give in that Obama may have won Florida!).
Come to find out, she’s not even talking about the election. She’s doing another show on Caylee - the missing child whose mother is suspected in her dissappearance.
I feel bad for the family of Caylee, if her mother is really responsible for her dissappearance and presumed death, it’s an awful situation. But I really think Caylee is dead and will not be found.
At this point, I think it’s a little asinine for Grace to still be focusing on Caylee. I’m really surprised that she’s not talking about the election.
Well, either way Biden will have a job. Biden has won the senator election in Delaware, so if for some reason Obama looses the election, he will still have the senatorship of Delaware. If he does become VP, Biden would resign from the Senate and Delaware’s governor, or her successor, will then appoint someone to serve the first two years of his term.
State law in Delaware allows Biden to run for both positions. Even if Obama wins the election, Biden still has the option to return to the Senate instead of serving as VP.
Mississippi has been called for McCain.
